MAGIC & RITUAL FINALE!!!

In lieu of the Portfolio Show our final class on Thursday, March 27, will begin at 5:30pm.

We will be conducting our final giant meditation (!) and presenting/compiling our Book of Shadow and Light. 

Please make sure to read the homework page to understand what your final assignment consists of!!

In the meantime, if the healing meditation did wonders for you today in class, give it another try this week.

You're almost there!!

At the end of the quarter, that is!! Some of you may be pulling out your hair, or perhaps on the verge of another meltdown. But before you go there, take 5 minutes, maybe even 10 minutes to do our usual mindful breathing meditation or perhaps a walking meditation that we learned in class. Please give it a try!!

Outer action with inner meaning

A pilgrimage is a very good example of what we consider "ritual" - outer action with inner meaning. This week you will be designing your own pilgrimage based on the handout.

Hello everyone!!! Guess what our class number number is?? SB311 --> 1+2+3+1+1=8!!!! SPIRITUAL FREEDOM!!

As next week is our SOLO RETREAT week, and we will not be meeting at school,  the assignment from this week (Week 6) and next week (Week 7) will be due WEEK 8.

Remember, next week, we will not be meeting at school. Instead you will use that time to do something that FEEDS YOUR SOUL. Make a promise to do this thing next week. And send me a short email describing what you plan to do. This email will count as attendance.

The sacred in everyday spaces + MIDTERM PROJECT

Hope everyone's hands are ok from all the speedy writing yesterday!

Please download the Temple in the House handout from yesterday and the word document with the questions you will need to answer. Please consider this as your midterm report project! Print and bring to class next week. This will be the writing for this week so you do not need to turn in anything else.

Also part of the homework is to change up one thing about your surroundings/routine (based on the questions you answer).

Let's bring back the sacred into our everyday spaces!!
