WEEK 1, January 16, 2014: Introductions
In class activities: Introductions, breathing exercise, sharing stories of unseen wonders

WEEK 2, January 23, 2014: The magic & ritual of intuition
--> Have you ever thought you heard someone calling your name and turned around to find no one there? Have you ever met someone whom you had a gut sense that you just didn’t jive with them? All these senses are what we call “intuition,” or what others might call ‘psychic’ abilities. As supernatural as that may seem, intuition is very natural. Students will learn to see the interior landscape of another person using the 7 point chakra system as a framework. As artists, one of our biggest obstacles when creating is self-doubt. Learning to hone in on our intuition helps us to move quickly past self-doubt. The mantra for the day is: Wrong and Strong!
In class activities: Psychic reading workshop

WEEK 3, January 30, 2014: The magic & ritual of deciphering energy in the body
--> Continuing our work with the 7 point chakra system that we briefly encountered in Week 2, today we will explore the chakra system as it is defined in numerous Eastern religions and has been appropriated by the field of INTUITIVE MEDICINE today. We will familiarize ourselves with the human energy system, its habits, and its tendencies, and what illnesses may manifest in the event of a serious imbalance in the energies.
In class activities: 7 point chakra system well-being assessment and crystal bowl meditation.

WEEK 4, February 6, 2014: The magic & ritual of divination with cards
--> Have you ever felt that you wanted some answers, but that you’d exhausted your friends and family? Some of you at one point might have turned to get a tarot card reading. Tarot is a form of divination- a standardized ritual or process used to gain insight into a situation or question. Divination is thousands of years old, with differing processes from culture to culture. Each method can be seen as a systematic way to organize and interpret seemingly disjointed and abstract aspects of our lives/existence.
In class activities:
TBA -> Using regular playing cards as a focusing agent for intuition.
